arvato services supports young people in India

arvato in alliance with one its technology customers has set up a Community Training center with the aim of helping underprivileged members of society gain access to electronic media. arvato India provides on-the-spot training and premises for the project.


On Jun 4, 08, arvato services India and the client celebrated the official opening of the center. "The new initiative underlines not only the strong partnership between the two companies, but also arvato’s intention to support the client’s business and social objectives," said Andreas Krohn, Vice President arvato services, at the opening ceremony.The program will offer young people from poor backgrounds instruction and continuing training via the client’s training programs. It will focus on students and young adults in the Gurgaon region. The program also aims to develop students already qualified, for example by improving certification and training towards higher levels. Each qualified student will receive a Certificate at the completion of the training program. The first group of 16 students comes from families with an annual household income between $750 and $1,800. arvato organized this initiative with the SNS Foundation, a regional non-governmental organization that has been active for a long time in the development of work-related skills and learning.
