Arvato India Takes Off With Vistara

Arvato India’s CRM division has taken over the management of the customer support activities for Vistara. The Indian domestic carrier, a joint venture between the globally operating Tata Group and Singapore Airlines, is a provider of domestic flights and plans to venture into international operations this year. With a team of 50+ employees at the Gurgaon site, Arvato covers the complete spectrum of services, from flight reservations and refunds to customer retention programs and the marketing of extra offers such as seat upgrades.

As Arvato India announced, the team is expected to expand further due to Vistara’s growth plans. The airline also has its headquarters in Gurgaon and was the first Indian carrier to introduce premium seats in economy class for inbound flights.

Largest aviation market by 2030

Arvato India CEO Ankush Bhandari said: “India’s civil aviation industry is on a high-growth trajectory, and India is slated to become the third-largest aviation market by 2020 and the largest by 2030.
